1. From New Haven: Take I-91 North to Hartford, and then follow signs to get to I-84 eastbound. Get off at Exit 68 and take Route 195 seven miles South to Route 44. Turn right on Route 44, and drive 2 miles West to Weaver Road (marked by a large blue UConn sign on the left). Turn left on Weaver Road and follow it uphill a quarter of a mile; you will see a red “Puppet Museum” sign on the right–this marks the Ballard Institute and our parking lot.
2. From Hartford: Take I-84 East to Exit 68. Get off at Exit 68 and take Route 195 seven miles South to Route 44. 4. From Providence: Follow Route 44 West from Providence fifty miles to its intersection with Route 195. Continue on Route 44 another two miles West, to Weaver Road (marked by a large blue UConn sign on the left). Turn left on Weaver Road and follow it uphill a quarter of a mile; you will see a red “Puppet Museum” sign on the right–this marks the Ballard Institute and our parking lot.
5. From Willimantic: Follow Route 32 North from Willimantic ten miles, to Route 44. Turn right on Route 44 and drive about one-half mile to Weaver Road (marked by a large blue UConn sign on the left). Turn left on Weaver Road and follow it uphill a quarter of a mile; you will see a red “Puppet Museum” sign on the right–this marks the Ballard Institute and our parking lot.
